TMCCC (Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge) is starting up again. The first race is March 11th at the Texas Raceway in Kennedale.

I run in these races with the torquecentral.com group, and everyone is welcome to come out and join us. The more the merrier!

I know what you mean.. I used to live in Rome, NY, on Griffis (don't think I'm spelling that right) AFB... I miss the playing in the snow, but not all the cold and work that went with it

The tracks very rarely close here due to the cold. Only on severe winter days

That is where I'm from. Grew up in Rome and my family still lives there.

Base is mostly empty now, but still some work at Rome labs and NEADS.

Heres a picture I took when they left the gates open from winter

My Dad and Stepmother were up there visiting some family in the BlackWater River area, and went by the base. They were able to get inside the house we used to live in and took some pictures. It's pretty sad to see what condition it's all in.

PMI opens today here.
Bandimere still has about a month. Pre-tech stuff starts pretty quick though.

Out here KCIR opened on the 4th and we had our first big race day on the 10th which was The Midwest Shootout. I got to watch cause my car is not quite ready to run yet. But it got me in gear to be ready for the next one!
