This only seems to happen when its very hot outside. When i got to unlock the driver door with the central lock switch, the door will not unlock. the slider on the door comes forward like normal, but not as far forward as it normally does. i tried while looking like an idiot in the parking lot to use the keys from inside the car to unlock the door from the outside. same thing. if i hit the central locking button from locked to unlock enough times eventually it will unlock the door but this can take 5 minutes or so. so far it has locked me in the car 3 times and have had to escape from the t-tops once. Any ideas?
Thank you |

you prolly have some piece of tar from the plastic sheet ont he inside that got onto your lock mech, and when its hot, the tar melts and gums up the mech... acetone or goo gone ought to clean it up...
