Supercharged TBI ??

ive got a question ive been wondering, and although i do research i really cant find much info on adding a supercharger to a TBI equipped F-body.. i would like to bolt up a centifugal Paxton pushing about 7lb. boost that a friend of mine took off his 91 Mustang, but im not quite sure how a person would do it on one of these engines... superchargers are new to me and ive never really worked with them, but i would assume that i would of course need a mounting bracket, and im not concerned with the plumbing because ive already got a custom 3.5" Short-Ram intake on my car, so connecting that wouldnt be a worry, but would i need a mass air flow sensor considering my car isnt equipped with one, and would i need another tensioner because of the way the belt would have to run around the head unit?.. im not really sure and like i said, info is scarce.. but even with all that, would anyone actually recommend that i supercharge a TBI engine or am i just wastin my time?... thanks

I would convert it to TPI. You'd have to pick up a bunch of parts from a blow-through carburetor setup and adapt them to the TBI unit. It's not impossible, but you'd see much better results from changing EFI setups. It probably wouldn't cost you much more, either.

My opinion would be if you want to supercharge that engine pull the TBI off and at the least get the blow through carb setup. I just think it would be a much less headache that way.
