Default Cold Air Intake

I'm thinking about purchasing a cold air intake similar to this one. Would it be compatible with my 3.8L V6?

I think that if it is not listed for the 3.8 it will be hard to fit

I really like the design of it. If anyone knows of one similar to what I posted for a 3.8L please let me know and post it.

It would be better if you had a ram-air hood, or functional nostrils. also, you might have to do some mods so that it lines up with the TB.

It looks like to me that the chrome intakes unit puts the air cleaner to close to the ground. Seems like it would get water on a rainy day. I have one of their units on my Tahoe & think it's great, but it is in the engine compartment & it looks just like the K&N unit, seems like the f-body one just is not as well engineered. But I am open to reviews & insights.

I have the K&N intake that goes near the wheel well. It is pretty much boxed off in the fender well so it is fine unless you like fording deep puddles, then I wouldn't recommend it. It is positioned in front of the tire, so there really isn't a lot of road spray that can get in there.

I have the chromeintakes one and a whole cut in the bottom to let air come in, you going to have to go through one hell of a hole of water to get that thing wet..
