What model seats will work in 1981 trans am - F-Body Online

I have a 1981 trans am and i want to purchase leather seats. i have found a set of seats for cheap but they are from a 1996 trans am. is there any way to make these seats work in my car. any help would be appreciated. thanks

They'll work, but you'll have to modify the frame rails to get them bolted in. Good luck.

Are there other parts of the interior that will work in my 81 trans am from a 96 trans am, such as the door panels or console or dash. thanks
