Just updating this to see if there is any interest in new requests. Don't be shy.

I can't guarantee I will do what people ask for, but for the most part I will try my hardest to do it as long as I feel it will benefit the site.

This site is one of the best looking sites out there for f-bods, hands down. The things you guys do to personalize the sigs, avatars, etc, really spruces it up to a high level. The software you use to run the site is top notch too. Unfortuneatly, as far as content goes, you have some really stiff competition out there with LS1tech.com, and CamaroZ28.com. The only thing I could suggest to grow, would be to find a little niche in the f-body market and concentrate on it. As far as I know you are the only site offering free customized sigs, why not spread the word some more? Everyone loves to see his/her car glamourized.

I agree, but think that we would need more than one person making the sigs. I don't know how long it takes to make one, but based on the quality of sigs that Rocket makes I'd say atleast an hour or two (probably more) is put into each one.

Thanks for the compliments Joelster, nice to see that people do enjoy what we've done.

I know that it will be near-impossible to compete with LS1Tech, and really I don't have my goals set to go after them. Not only are they huge, but they are now owned by the owners of the forum software we're using, they bought them out a few months ago
I don't think that a forum that large is really my goal. I'd love more posts, and that is what we're aiming at, but we don't really need 20,000 users. I'm just looking to make this place for all F-Body enthusiasts, offer deals, and create a genuinely fun and intelligent place to hang-out with others.

I'm not sure what niche I'd be able to push the site into right now, but maybe in time it will just naturally settle in somewhere.

I've already offered my services for making sigs to Rockett, but as per time needed in making one, it really differs depending on what you want the sig to look like, and the original photos used in the sig. I can make one in 15 minutes, or spend hours upon hours working on one.

I just use photoshop to make them.

If you're interested in one, you can request one here:
http://www.fbodyonline.com/f29/need-...click-here-43/

I'm a bit swamped with work and finals at this time of the year, but I'll catch back up and get to making them soon enough.

Ok so everything thats been changed on the site is great. However, I'm not sure if this only happens to me, but since yesterday whenever I go to the home page of FBO, the register box pops up and it gets kind of annoying after a while. Just wondering whats going on there. Thanks.

I've sent 2 emails back to you on that.

We've got someone working on setting up something for guests after they get 5 pageviews. Its acting up now because there working on it currently. Once its done you wont even notice its there, only un-registered people browsing will see it, and it will just be a simple little box that pops up and lets them register fast.

If you hit the close box it should go away outside of the homepage.

Sorry, I haven't checked my email today. It's just that yeaterday
I couldn't get on at all beacuse the box had no close button, and today I can get on but that box pops up all the time. It's not really a big deal, I was just curious about why it just started happening. Thanks for the fast reply.

No problem, I wasn't expecting it to take this long, but it should be done soon.

Lol, PPV? haha. Yeah, I've been getting the same issues. The way i got around it was just reload the page then hit Esc before it finishes loading so the pop up wouldn't come up.
Keep us posted on any updates Rocket. Thanks!

Is it possible to get a jump box on here. I have to return to the home page when i want to switch areas. It would be nice if i was in the general discussion area and wanted to jump over to the 1st gen area without paging back or having to go back to the main page.

I can put a pulldown at the bottom of the each thread with a list of all the forums. That what you're talking about?

The guys that were hired to do it, couldn't do it so I dropped it for a while until I could find the time to get it myself.
By the page, do you mean the homepage stuff? Yes, there are updates to that, and Its basically ready but I'm waiting for one specific piece to get done so I can roll it out completely finished.

We now have a Jumpbox at the bottom of each thread.
