Default Metal Gas Cap

Now i dont know if this is a good idea or if it would even look good but i've seen those metal gas caps on some trucks and on some mustangs. Here's an example of the type of thing i'm talking of:

Do you guys think that this would look good and how would i go about doing this/getting parts. I've seen some metal ones like this in places like pep boys but they are always for like f150's. I think like a black metal one would look cool because i have a red camaro with black stripes on the hood.

I think they look great on Mustangs. Especially mustangs that need to be washed.

On an f-body.... nope.

If that was stock on my car, I'd be looking for a way to make it body-colored.

I've seen it done. They sell those cheap decals at vatozone that you can stick on any vehicle.

I considered it since my car is silver. Then remembered, it looks terrible.

Body colour would look good but leaving it metal like that looks tacky.

Other vehicles might be able to pull it off, but not the fbody imho. Maybe if you added some of those stick on heat extractors and bullet hole stickers it would match up nice.

I'm just kidding man.

On the challengers, It looks sexy IMO... on anyother car, is ugly...
Trucks, I think only the Ram's can pull it off...
Maybe its a Dodge thing.

Seen it.
And I have to agree.

Personally...I think it falls into the 'rice' category as a mod.

Yea, but if you were considering, im pretty sure people have made the metal gas caps that fit eclipses fit on our cars. I would never do it though.

There's a silver 98+ WS6 TA with one. I don't think it looks that great.
