Default Amsoil

Alright ladies and gentlemen of FBO. I've reinstated my Dealer status for AMSOIL.
With the loss of Gabe as our AMSOIL vendor, I'm going to be stepping up to fill his position.

I'll be able to order any and all products that you find on the AMSOIL website.
AMSOIL - Synthetic Oil, Motor and Engine Oil, Lubricants, Air Filters, Oil Filters and Greases
Don't let the prices scare you away, I'm doing this to help the community out, so please let me know before placing your orders in the event a discount is available to you!!

Any questions you may have, please feel free to ask, and I will do my best to find an answer for you.

Feel free to PM me or just post in here with any and all questions about products, AMSOIL the brand, or anything else that comes to mind.

I like GP's (Group Purchases) so if a particular item (ex. Air Filters) gets enough interest, I'd be more than willing to organize a GP and try and offer them at a discounted rate.

Also, I'd be more than happy to sign anyone up to become a Preferred Customer (PC). Being registered as a PC gives you the ability to purchase items at your convenience at a much more discounted rate!
I also encourage those of you who may be interested in becoming Dealers to ASK ME HOW!

Thanks, and look forward to doing business with all of you!
-Superman

I'm glad you went ahead with this. I'll be buying some within a weeks time for sure. What do I need to do to become a preferred customer though?

I don't think so. If he makes me on, I will definitely buy something from him at one point

What's the comparison to Royal Purple? Anyone seen any actual comparisions on things like viscosity breakdown, coefficient of friction, etc? I was going to start running Royal Purple, but maybe I should run some AMSOIL, assuming they make diff fluids, radiator additives, etc?

I think you do, people keep asking and you keep giving them answers. You gotta keep fighting the good fight.

I did some more research on this, and found that Royal Purple uses moly, which is actually a very good lubricant additive, however, it can fall out of suspension, possibly clogging your filters, etc. I think I'll stay away, just in case I end up having to run my oil for any length of time. Next time I need to pick up some oil, I'll let you know Superman. Have you ran their Trans fluids, or diff fluids? Any noticeable differences in mileage, or 100 foot times?

You don't. Becoming a Preferred Customer means you can buy at YOUR convenience, but whenever you do you get really great savings!

I haven't used their fluids yet, but as soon as I start getting a steady cash flow from my full-time job this summer I plan on running AMSOIL.
I encourage anyone who has used or uses AMSOIL to post up their results.

That brings me to another point.

I'd like to Welcome FBO's newest AMSOIL Dealer, Korndogg!
Korndogg and I will be co-Dealer's and will be able to assist FBO's members in any way we can.

not to be a dick or anything, but isn't it easier to just walk to advanced auto and get it there?
