![]() I know the RT needs some work. When I drag raced regularly it was around .4 but sometimes lower. The left lane was shut down early on due to something unsafe on that side. It was BS, and the staging lanes got backed up to hell. First run was an 8.3, next was this 8.2, and the one after that I did a short burnout and got wheel hop on launch which caused an 8.5. The donor car for my LS1 swap ran 8.4s supposedly. It had an SLP lid, same filter, same MAF, same engine/trans/driveshaft, pacesetter longtubes and highflow cats, 3" ORY, to a 3" in 2.5" out Flowmaster muffler (so full exhaust work), and a 3.23 posi rear end on stock suspension w/cut springs rolling on 18x10.5 Z06 replica wheels. quick specs: full weight added sound deadening 98-02 WS6 lower airbox MTI clear lid K&N air filter descreened MAF stock 01 LS1 stock 4L60E stock manifolds gutted factory cats stock y-pipe stock v8 muffler factory aluminum driveshaft (donor car had one too) 3.42 rear end (stock for Y87 cars) 275/40/17 Nitto 555R drag radials at/past the wear bars Edelbrock coilovers up front Bilstein HD shocks rear sagging LT1 rear springs 32mm front swaybar (still attached) 19mm rear swaybar (still attached)

Oh yeah, using nifty conversion charts, an 8.28 would be between 12.9 to 13.1 in the 1/4 depending on conditions and driver. Keep in mind my engine and trans are still stock. w00t! Bad news is the local 1/4 mile track runs roughly .2 slower than most others (& the nifty conversion charts).

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic if you look at the big grin smiley in his post.
