My boyfriend was the first person I took on. He has a '95 twin turbo, 12-second Mustang GT. So of course I knew he'd beat me, but he let me get a head first, but then he ... well blew by me. But the next two Mustangs were a '99 and '00 and I beat them both a little less than a second. Not much huh, but still a win!

I do have to say that I love to ride around with my boyfriend too, even if it is a Mustang. He wanted to get me one, I said NO WAY. I want a Camaro, but he did help me look. I was surprised at that. But there's nothing else I want!

I so have to agree with you. It pains me at times, I'm not always wanting to bash the mustangs. My "boyfriend" has one and has worked very hard on his through out the years - but that is the ONLY mustang that is true to my heart. Mustang drivers are asses! Pure asses! I'm sorry. I drive down the street or at car shows and other T/A and Camaro drivers wave hi to me out of respect - like the motorcycle and Jeep thing. I watch when he drives and you know what those arrogant asses do? They flick eachother off. What is up with that? Why? I think it's rude and uncalled for and I must say that I like being a part of a better "community" of American Muscle Mentality.

As for the look and the perfomance - you are correct. I think Camaros have always look pretty good, except for a few body styles in the 70s. haha. Trans Ams have gotten better over the years I will say that. Mustangs -- ick! They have some good ones and they have some REAL ugly ones!

As for Mustangs being cheaper? Their a dime a dozen. Their "chick" cars - no offense. HAHA and I am a chick. I can't stand 'em. They always have excuses too. I took one on at the track (a friend of mine) and he had nothing but excuses for his time. I beat him all three times and heard nothing but whining. Suck it up. Not only was he beat by a fantastic STOCK car (when his wasn't) but he was also beat by a chick.

    Ick! Mustangs.

    HAHA.

I've loved Camaros ever since ..... well I'd have to say pretty much my whole life - since I ever knew of Camaros. Funny how it took us both around 2 years to find something. That's what sucks I think. At one point it's really nice to have something that's "rare" because their no longer made (unfortunately) at the same time you have mustangs running all over the place. And really what makes them any better? I'm not sure. But the thing that gets me sometimes is that I feel the Camaro and even Trans Am is sooo underrated - there's not enough credit and it's really nice to know there are people out there the love and appreciate them.

Thanks for the picture comment as well. She was SUPER clean when I bought her. I can't believe it. I REALLY lucked out. Took me 2 years to finally find a really nice one with out paying over 18 grand for it. I love camaros. Next up, I want an Iroc eventually.

Haha! How wierd is that? I'd say let's trade, but just like you, I'm officially in love with my car as well. I had to many ideas for white and stuff ... I just have to think of what to do with blue.
